
It's a three hour drive from Albuquerque to the middle of nowhere. A caretaker hired by DIA then drives you another hour to the site. It's best to go midweek early in the visiting season because you share the cabin with a total of six other people - unless we want the shared experience with others. The cabin does have three bedrooms and two baths though. Do I sound like a travel agent yet?
It's windy as hell with rugged terrain = no high heels.

I'm intrigued by this thing and am considering a trip. What I haven't managed to determine is the likelihood of actually seeing lightning here.
